Are You All Glorious Within?
If we’re born again we are God’s children, children of the Heavenly King and the Bride of Christ!
Yet we can feel far from royal and totally unworthy of such honour but how does God view us?
‘The king’s daughter is all glorious within:’
Oh the beauty Christ sees in you dear soul. Your sins are washed away in His precious blood. All your filth and guilt is covered with His perfect righteous. And as He gazes lovingly upon you He sees you as you are in Him, all glorious within!
Don’t you see His perfect love for you? Abide in Him, rest in His love.
Yes indeed, seek to live a holy life that glorifies Him for He is worthy of no less. But simply because of His great love for you. You don’t need to earn His love, just rest in it, it’s unchanging.
You did nothing whatsoever in the first place to be worthy of His love therefore you can do nothing whatsoever that will make you lose it. He simply loves you because He chose to love you! Chose to love you with an everlasting, unchanging love.
Unworthy in ourselves but accepted in the Beloved! What a wonder of amazing grace, rest in it dear soul, rest in it.
