Salt And Light Today
Encouraging women to seek and abide through regular thoughts on scripture throughout the week.
What Can You Expect from these Thoughts on Scripture?
I post regular, devotional style, thoughts on scripture for your day. I’m usually sharing what God lays on my heart that day from His word. Generally this is in a blog format but occasionally as a poem when the creativity is really flowing.
Honestly it’s something I feel totally inadequate to do but I continue to share as it’s something God has laid on my heart to do. So I keep going, trusting God to help me and bless it to souls for His glory. (Read more about my journey here.)
My Aim in Sharing Thoughts from Scripture
I hope you’ll find encouragement here to both seek for a closer and deeper walk with God and to live out that abiding place we have in Christ as believers! As a young Mum I felt very alone in my faith and soon found myself in a very lukewarm place spiritually.
I want to encourage you in your walk with the Lord and for you to know that you’re not alone. We have Sisters and Brothers in Christ all around the world and we can all encourage one another where we can.
God’s word is our food and drink and vital if we’re to grow and be healthy spiritually and I want to encourage you to put Jesus first. He truly will multiply your time and help you through your day if you put Him first in all things. ‘Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you.’
