Can You Praise God for Convicting You?

Can You Praise God for Convicting You and Lovingly Drawing you to Himself?

I was singing that hymn ‘He lifted me’ this morning in tears as my heart was filled with such wonder at the love of God revealed to me in Jesus Christ. Do you know that love?

‘In loving kindness Jesus came

My soul in mercy to reclaim,

And from the depths of sin and shame

Through grace He lifted me.

.

From sinking sand He lifted me,

With tender hand He lifted me,

From shades of night to plains of light,

O praise His name, He lifted me!’

.

Oh the depths He lifts us out of!

Can you praise His name today for convicting you and lovingly drawing you to Himself? For lifting you from brink of hell?

If He has then let us praise His name and live each moment for God’s glory through the grace of Jesus Christ our Saviour for He is worthy of our all!

Oh what joy and peace His love brings! A love that will carry us through the deepest trials and darkest paths.

But what if you don’t know Jesus as your Saviour? What if you have never looked to Him in faith?

Then your precious soul stands this very moment at the brink of hell. You stand at the precipice of an eternity spent enduring the wrath of Almighty God.

My words cannot save you but the power and love of God through Jesus Christ can if you look to Him in faith for forgiveness. He tells us that…

‘There is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. For I am God, and there is none else.’

‘Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat. Yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you.’

Look to Him right now dear soul, don’t put it off, you may not have another day.  Get alone and get on your knees and plead for mercy and don’t leave off pleading until your prayers are answered.

Look unto Him and be saved.

With Love
