Whose strength are you going in?

April 29, 2025 by saltblog

‘I will go in the strength of the Lord God.’

This is a statement each child of God can confidently make because He has said that ‘My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.’

Maybe there’s something specific you need strength for, some big task or event or maybe it’s just to get through another day. Whatever our need, Gods grace truly is sufficient.

In Him we have all the wisdom, all the patience, all the love, all the grace, all the mercy, everything we need to get us through another day.

If we are in Jesus then He is also in us. The Spirit is our helper, and Christ is made unto us both the wisdom and power of God. Not just any wisdom and power but God’s. Just pause and take that in for a minute!

‘Christ crucified…unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.’

So lean into the fullness of that position you have in Christ dear soul, truly abide in Him, rest in His sufficiency, for He is all you need to live a life that glorifies and pleases God.

‘According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:’

.
