Recipes

Serve And Love Today

I share recipes for those occasions that you want to make somthing a little extra special and break all the crunchy rules as well as some everyday and healthier recipes.

A bowl of square shaped crackers on a marbled surface. around the bowl are a few loose crackers, a round of cheese with a slice cut out and at the top a bowl of black and green olives
A cookie sprinkled with dried raspberry pieces on a marbled work surface with lemon slices and fresh raspberries in the background

Getting Creative with Recipes

Getting creative in the kitchen is just another way for me to exercise my creativity. Brain fog (thanks Lupus) can make cooking interesting to say the least. So I tend to only bake when there’s somebody else around because Howard worries that I’ll burn the house down!

I know, not the best way to sell my recipes but I promise you they’re delicious! Just to say I’m not going to only share the Pinterest worthy photos because sometimes we all need to know that not everyone is as perfect as they appear online!

And if you come to visit know that I’ll probably be experimenting on you. I honestly get bored baking the same things over and over. (Although I do have my go to’s for brain fog days.) And I nearly always try something new when I’m entertaining.

I love hosting but the lupus fatigue can make entertaining exhausting. So I’m hoping to share some hints and tips that I’ve learnt along the way to make things easier as well as my go to creations for those occasions.

I have a Victorian Cookbook that was my Great, Great Grandmother’s so I’m hoping to share some recipes from there too. The Victoria Sponge is the best I’ve ever made and the method is quite different to modern recipes.

To see all the recipes just expand the recipes tab in the Main Menu at the top of the page and choose by category or browse through the Homepage for recent posts.

So follow along and join in the fun. You can sign up for new recipes in your inbox by filling in the form below.
