Another day
How easy ‘tis to leave
Until another day
The thing that must be done
‘Oh that can wait’, we say.
.
Maybe it’s some small task
Or maybe so much worse
Your soul’s salvation cannot wait
This day may be your last.
.
‘I’m young’ you say, maybe
With many years ahead
But in a graveyard you will see
Others your age lie dead.
.
For death and hell are real,
The first we each must face,
It has no sting for those in Christ
But are you one of these?
.
You need salvation now
Not in the coming days
Tomorrow may be the day you bow
Before your Maker’s face.
.
Repent then of your sin
And turn to Christ in faith
Trust in His true and faithful Word
Don’t wait another day.
.
This moment here right now
The only time that’s yours,
Today His arms in mercy stretch
To welcome sin sick souls.
.
Don’t wait another day
God longingly awaits
With outstretched arms and love filled face
To wash Your sins away.
.
